According to Dr. Masaru Emoto, your consciousness could affet the molecular structure of water. He also, hypothosized and tested if water could react to positive thoughts and words. He also showed how polluted water could be cleaned through prayer and positive visulization. 
 
His water crystal exeriments consisted of exposing water in glasses to various words, pictures, or music, then freezing it and examining the ice crystals aesthetic properties. He held that water from a mountain stream held beautifully shaped geometric patterns and polluted water held distorted and randomly formed ice structures. He even tested exposing water to ultraviolet light.  In 2008, his finding were published in the Journal of Scientific Exploration.
